Rating:  8 Star

I enjoyed this book by Darrien Lee.  This book is about a close knit family that endure a lot of heartache but try to maintain as a family day by day.  This family runs into a lot of ups and downs, and hold a lot of secrets.  In the end the family still maintains to keep one another happy and well put together.  Sorry for the lack of details but if I tell you to much I’ll tell the story.   Recommended for all readers.

“A Woman’s Worth”    Author:  Nikita Lynette Nichols

Rating:  5 Star

This book is about a Christian woman named Monique.  Monique finds her self in love with a man who cares nothing about her feelings and on top of that they are shacking (living together and not married).  Her fiance' cousin moves in and things take a unexpected turn.  You must read this book for yourself to get the end result.  I am very impressed with this book.  It is a Christian fiction worth every page turning moment.  I couldn't put it down.  Recommended for all patrons who love to read a good book and especially for women patrons this book will have you thinking and loving yourself even more.  So come to the library and check it out.

“Grandpa’s Music”    Author:  Alison Acheson

Rating:  7 Star

This book is about an old man that has Alzheimer's and has to move in with his grown children and grandchildren it is a very difficult situation for all that is involved all feel out  they finally realized that their grand remembered how to play the piano and wash vegetables and water the flowers the only thing they had to remind him by writing a to do list on the chart so he could keep up with his duties and at the end he had to placed in a skilled facility.  Overall,  my feeling was that this was a way of teaching us what life consists of for the mentally disabled.  I thought the author did a very good job on explaining the conditions.
